Here’s a little biography about moi.

I am born in Thonon-Les-Bains (France) on the 18th of February 1980. I grew up normally, without any health problem. I just jump about 16 years, because nothing really important happened (after that either, to be honest). I have always been a quiet kid, really no trouble, very well behaved. For my 16th birthday, I bought an electric guitar and an amp from one of my brother’s friend. I then taught myself guitar by buying tablatures and playing along with my CDs.

I also played in a few bands, my very first one being called Insane. We were playing covers of various bands (from the Offspring to Sepultura). I then played in a few more rock bands before joining a blues - rock band lead by my uncle. Our band was called “Les Filets De Perche”, which is a fish-based dish typical from my region in France. We played one gig only in a pub and had a fantastic time. We played stuff like the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, and other various 70’s rock bands.

Then I had to leave my region to go to study science. This was for 3 years until 2001, when it was time to look for a job. I decided to go to the UK (a young lady was involved in the decision though).

Things started to change radically  when I arrived in the UK in October 2001, and I actually started my life here alone (because the previously stated young lady decided to dump me after 2 years of good and loyal services).

From 2001 to 2003, I built up my life here. I found a job in a research lab working on asthma, and I also built up a social life with friends from all over the world.

I discovered magic in August 2003, while walking through the Camden market. I was fairly interested in magic, but only on a spectator level, but in this market I thought I could actually try myself at performing magic, by purchasing a magic trick. I practiced it and got hooked on it. Then, I just kind of focused on it, unfortunately putting drawing and music aside. I just played guitar occasionally, and drew the occasional birthday card.

Now it is 2005, and I changed drastically as a person, thanks to magic. It allowed me to gain confidence in who I am, and also allowed me to meet plenty of fantastic people. My vision of life changed a lot, so did my relationship with people. The shy, frustrated Jerome turned into the cool relaxed and cheeky Jerome. That is who I am nowadays, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Now I try to draw more and to practice more on my guitar as I am ok at magic. I also try to make a career  out of magic, but I do not take it too seriously. This is more of an added extra for me. But if it opens up new horizons, I say why not ?

Anyway, that is what happened to me in a nutshell. I do not want to bore you any further, because I made this site to have fun, and for people to have fun browsing it. So here you go… Enjoy, have fun and take it easy.

Jerome soon after birth. He started eating the umbilical cord. Notice he had his goatee at birth.

1 month after my first birthday, in 1981.  as a birthday gift, my mum bleached the hair  I shaved off and made a nice cardigan out of it.

2001 just before leaving for England. That was the last time I was seen as a normal human being .

Late  2003. This was in Ireland. The cat got me drinking and ended up abusing me. I tried to call her, but she never answered my calls.

Early 2003.

My carburant. We call it “gnole” in my village. I am sure you wonder how the fruit ends up in the bottle. It is for me to know and you to find out...

3 months after birth… girls, stop clicking on the smiley, it doesn’t come off. Check my arse instead...

Here you go… it grew lots since then…

1982. 2 years old. As I was never looking straight at the objective, my parents took me to an eye doctor and...

Few days after birth. Still in the space suit.

1984, my first performance. As a leak.

1986, That was the  beginning of the end. I started to do what I do best: eating.

1988. 8 years old. New style of glasses. Yuck.

1993. 13 years old. New style of glasses, again. Still yuck, though.

1997.  17 years old. New style of glasses. And an ugly jumper. What was I thinking of???

2002. I was desperately trying to fit in. Wrong fashion though.

Another try to fit in the society. The wookie is hassling  me now.

2005. Here we are.  That’s what you get nowadays. I know lots of you would rather get the Jerome 1982 - 1984, but sorry, I put loads of weight since then. I also grew a beard. You’ll just have to remember that  once  I was cute.
